In March 2023 we became a registered inspection organisation by the Japan Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries for quarantine inspection services of seeds and seedlings, and domestic quality inspection for seeds and seedlings. Commencing services for export on April 1, 2023. Seed inspection for export (full inspection) is performed to certify that seeds are free from infection by pathogens specified by the importing countries. This inspection is conducted in accordance with the methods specified by the importing country, the International Seed Inspection Association (ISTA) or the International Seed Health Initiative (ISHI). Our laboratory is fully equipped with real-time PCR equipment, microplate readers, and other advanced testing equipment for bacterial culture, genetic and serological tests. Our inspectors are graduates of master’s programs in this field or former employees of research institutes.
